  • Late interception seals the win

(CNN) -- Top-ranked Alabama was defeated Saturday night by No. 15 Texas A&M, 29-24, shaking up college football's BCS National Championship picture.

In the waning moments, a dramatic interception by the Aggies near their goal line stunned the crowd in Tuscaloosa.

Quarterback Johnny Manziel, a redshirt freshman sensation, passed for 253 yards and rushed for 92 in leading the Aggies to the upset.

Despite the loss, Alabama, the defending national champion, still has a shot at this year's crown.

The Crimson Tide, 9-1, survived a scare last weekend, hanging on against LSU.
