The man is in custody in New York. Sources told NBCNewYork.com that the man lives on Long Island, but no other details about him were immediately available. More about the alleged plot on NBCNewYork.com Law enforcement officials stressed that the plot was a sting operation monitored by the FBI and the New York Police Department and the public was never at risk.
