Cops: NYC mom finds 2 kids dead

The children's nanny was on the bathroom floor bleeding from what appeared to be self-inflicted stab wounds to her neck, New York City police spokesman Paul Browne said. A kitchen knife was found next to the nanny. A neighbor called 9-1-1 after hearing the mother's screams. The children were taken to St. Luke's Roosevelt and pronounced dead. They were 1 and 6 years old The nanny is at Cornell Medical Center in critical condition.
